Being married to a retired Dallas fire captain and writing a thriller series about arson investigators, I was honored to step up and help. I chose a variety, including all Jane Austen's books.
Growing up, my school and community libraries were always my happy place. If even one of these books makes a young person forget their troubles for a little bit, makes them smile, or lets them take an exciting adventure, I'll be so thankful. God bless all those librarians who are also dealing with their own losses while trying to bring joy, comfort, and escapism to students.
